Location: Gurugram | Jul 27, 2026 - Job Purpose Sim Tech-3 is a midium level Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician (FSMT) having overall experience in maintenance of the simulator acquired through various trainings and sufficient on-the-job experience. He/ She reports to the Shift leader and Simulator Maintenance Manager. - Key Accountabilities - The maintenance work of the simulator allocated to him/ her. He /She may be assigned responsibility as a device caretaker. - To work and co-ordinate with available manpower for preventive/ scheduled/ breakdown maintenance and ensure entries in relevant documents viz. Training Logs, Open DR Lists (ODR), inspection schedules (Preventive Maintenance Checks, etc.), QTGs Schedules, Snag Registers, Configuration Control Logs (CCLs), etc. - To work and coordinate with available manpower to organize new snags/ simulator jobs are prioritized as per the needs, by the Simulator Maintenance Technicians (FSMTs) to avoid snag rectification delays. - To hand-over his/ her duties & responsibilities to suitable Flight Simulator Maintenance Engineers (FSMEs) if required, if the Shift leader is not available/ on long leave. - To attend regular meetings and to provide updates/ resolution on open snags and other important issues of the simulator. - To complete QTGs/ inspection schedules etc. and the timely submission of reports to the Quality Manager (SQMS). - To plan maintenance time slots and Fly-out sessions to evaluate and clear snags, in consultation with the Simulator Maintenance Manager. - Formulate and document, systems and associated working procedures for each activity. - To follow up / track the required critical spares for which any snag is pending. - To maintain FSTD to its highest efficiency at all times. - Responsible for maintaining adequate spares inventory of allotted FSTD, with an aim to reduce FSTD down time to minimum. - To provide any related technical/non technical information of allotted simulator, to Simulator Maintenance Manager and QM- SQMS as and when required. - Ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained throughout the training device operation. - Maintain the record of any hardware/software change in respective configuration control logs/file for record. Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work.
