Manufacturing Engineer

Job description

***Key Responsibilities*** Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products Prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Conduct feasibility studies, calculations, and simulations Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to design specifications Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements Support maintenance teams in resolving technical problems Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams Participate in cost reduction and process optimization initiatives ***Required Skills & Competencies*** Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, ANSYS, etc.) Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, fabrication, casting, etc.) Problem-solving and analytical thinking Good understanding of materials and thermodynamics Project management and time management skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely completion of design and projects Equipment efficiency and uptime improvement Cost reduction achievements Quality and defect reduction Compliance with safety and regulatory standards Work Environment Office-based design work with periodic shop-floor exposure May involve site visits, inspections, or plant supervision
