Key Skills: Master Data, Power Generation, Data Compilation, Communication, Bill of Materials (BOM), Spare Parts Management, Maintenance Management, Maintenance Planning, SAP, MS Excel Job Description: We are looking for a motivated Associate – Master Data professional to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will contribute to creating and maintaining high-quality product and spare part information that supports power plant uptime and strengthens our aftermarket service offering. Responsibilities: - Perform efficient spare parts assortment, information compilation, and diagnostics to support repair and maintenance activities. - Understand component, sub-assembly, and system-level layouts to develop and document optimized spare part solutions for technical repairs. - Conduct internal technical reviews related to Spare Parts, Repair Methods, and Standard Times to ensure consistency and data accuracy. - Work with Product Data Management (PDM) systems, Bill of Materials (BOM), and SAP to maintain product data integrity. - Analyze and resolve engineering deviations, improvement suggestions, and customer inquiries related to service parts. - Collaborate with global colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data updates and communication. - Ability to analyze and prepare power plant maintenance reports for auxiliary systems and components. - Experience with maintenance documentation, inspection data, and reporting tools related to plant auxiliaries. - Understanding of maintenance intervals, condition monitoring, and data improvement related to auxiliary equipment. - Capability to identify optimization opportunities in maintenance data and suggest corrective actions. - Knowledge of technical documentation standards and compliance for auxiliary equipment. Requirements: - Education: **Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering** or a related field. - Experience: **2–4 years of relevant experience in product data, spare parts, or master data management (preferably in the power or energy sector).** - Strong understanding of mechanical products, BOMs, and technical drawings. - Experience working with SAP, PDM systems, and MS Office tools (especially Excel). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and learning mindset. - Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English, as you will interact with global teams and suppliers.
