**Job DescriptionEngineer / Senior Engineer – Formwork ExecutionQualification** - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech Civil) – Mandatory **Experience** - Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction with formwork systems **Job Location** - Project Site (High-Rise Residential Projects) **Role Overview** The Engineer / Senior Engineer – Formwork Execution will be responsible for **planning, supervising, and monitoring formwork activities at the project site** . The role involves coordinating with tower execution teams to ensure **efficient installation, cycling, dismantling, and maintenance of formwork systems** including Aluminium Formwork, Conventional Formwork, Safety Screen Climbing Systems, and Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS). The position will report to the **Manager – Formwork Execution** and will support smooth formwork operations across the project. **Key Responsibilities** **Formwork Execution** - Supervise installation, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems at site. - Ensure proper execution of formwork activities for columns, walls, beams, slabs, and shear walls. - Monitor daily formwork operations and coordinate with tower execution teams. **Formwork Systems Management** - Work with different formwork systems including: - Aluminium Formwork Systems - Conventional Formwork Systems - Safety Screen Climbing Systems - Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS) - Ensure correct assembly and safe operation of climbing and protection systems. **Cycle Time & Productivity Monitoring** - Track formwork cycle time for slabs and vertical elements. - Coordinate with tower teams to ensure timely shifting and reuse of formwork materials. - Identify productivity issues and support improvements in formwork operations. **Technical Coordination** - Coordinate with Tower Incharges, Engineers, and Supervisors for proper sequencing of formwork activities. - Provide technical guidance regarding formwork installation and structural requirements. - Resolve technical issues related to formwork alignment, shuttering, and cycling. **Safety & Quality Control** - Ensure formwork systems are installed as per safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure structural stability and dimensional accuracy. - Ensure compliance with project quality standards. **Material & Inventory Monitoring** - Monitor formwork material usage and availability at site. - Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of formwork components. - Report material damage, shortages, or repair requirements. **Documentation & Reporting** - Maintain records of formwork cycle progress, usage, and site activities. - Prepare daily and weekly progress reports related to formwork execution. - Coordinate with planning teams for formwork scheduling and tracking. **Technical Skills Required** - Strong understanding of formwork systems used in high-rise construction - Hands-on experience in: - Aluminium Formwork - Conventional Formwork - Safety Screen Climbing Systems - Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS) - Ability to read structural drawings and shuttering layouts - Knowledge of formwork cycling and high-rise construction sequencing - Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD **Preferred Skills** - Strong coordination with execution and planning teams - Good problem-solving skills related to formwork installation and alignment issues - Ability to work in fast-paced high-rise construction environments - Strong attention to safety and quality standards
