Mechanical (BOP- Water Systems) Engineering

Job description

We are looking for engineering professional having expertise in design, engineering & coordination of Water treatments systems & hydraulic systems of thermal power plants capacity not less than 250 MW. **Responsibility: -** - Develop, prepare specifications of water treatment system & hydraulic system tender specifications. - Review/approval of DBR, engineering drawing (GAD, CSD, P & I, Isometric Drawings), technical data sheets, design & operational philosophy, Water Balance, PG test procedures, FQP of water treatment & hydraulic systems. - Selection of most suitable equipment and optimal scheme for pretreatment, RO plant, Ion Exchange process including CPU, Wastewater System, STP, CW treatment, various chlorination, Dosing system, Blowdown Recycling system, Cooling Towers, CW and other pumps, Piping, Pipe rack, heat exchangers & associated systems with cost optimization. - Coordination with vendor & consultant for timely submission & approval of drawing & documents. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including statutory authorities. **Soft Skill** - Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills to solve complex engineering problems - Decision-Making: Ability to make informed decisions and adopt a results-driven approach. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively. - Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-driven. **Others Key knowledge and skill requirements** - Strong understanding of water treatment and hydraulic principles - Familiarity with Power industry, environment standards and regulations. - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) - Basic knowledge of civil, structure, electrical & C & I
