Job description

**Preferred candidate profile** We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in product design using Creo. The candidate should have strong knowledge of plastic component design, injection moulding, GD&T, DFMEA, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Experience in the automotive, consumer durables, electronics, or EMS industry will be preferred. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo. - Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs. - Design plastic parts considering injection moulding guidelines. - Perform DFMEA to identify and mitigate design risks. - Apply GD&T standards and tolerance stack-up analysis. - Ensure DFM/DFA compliance for manufacturability and assembly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers. - Support prototype development, testing, and engineering change implementation (ECO/ECN). **Required Skills** - PTC Creo (Mandatory) - Plastic Product Design / Injection Moulding - GD&T - DFMEA - DFM/DFA - Tolerance Stack-up Analysis - Engineering Drawings & BOM - Root Cause Analysis
