Detailed description: Global ME COC – ME Project Management Guidelines, Role and Responsibilities Global ME COC – ME Project Management Guidelines, Role and Responsibilities Purpose - Standardize the Global ME COC Internal ME Project Management Practice across the ME Programs execution to drive consistent ME execution excellence aspects across the regions - This document is applicable post Program Award only Lead Role - MDO Project Lead is the role within Global ME COC who is accountable for the MDO Deliverables for given Program Execution assignment - MDO Project Lead is a single point of contact for assigned program and accountable to drive this internal MDO Project Management practice - MDO Project Lead escalates the required level of ME leadership support, engagement and attention to resolve challenges within Global ME COC Scope - MDO Project Lead is accountable for the MDO Deliverables for given Program Execution and works with PD & cross-functional teams (PM/PDTL, CPE/CE-EU, SYS, HW Design, DPLU, Product Safety, HW Product Assurance, Environment Validation, Advance Mfg. Engineering, SQE, and others) cohesively and collaboratively to achieve overall Program objectives - MDO Project Lead defines MDO delivery scope, MDO project planning in JIRA (Epics, Stories and Tasks), Samples Strategy, Required Team skills as part of initial planning stage - MDO sample definition (sample A, B, C, D), mapping and alignment with customer overall program schedule while closely working with Program Management team - MDO Project Lead focus and drives on the ME Engineering and Technical aspects of the ME development thru out the Program Execution - Ensures ME Project team has clarity and thorough understanding of ME Requirements - Accountable to ensure ME design and development execution as per VistWay and VPDS MDO Design Process and ME bookshelf guidelines - Manages assigned different ME skills team members for respective Program and ensures MDO deliverables meeting On Time, On Quality and On Cost (EBOM Target & ME Budget) KPIs • Identifies the early ME risk & mitigation, addresses technical and resource (people & infrastructure) challenges to ensure the ME design quality of deliverables - Drives MDO Technical Design Reviews (MDO TDR) at Concept and Exit stage of the Program as defined along with assigned Tech Professional/Tech Fellow - Tracks and executes to the defined MDO Project Plan and meets the MDO deliverable commitment - Tracks and updates weekly internal MDO Project Status into JIRA, ME Sprint set up by Month - Projects correct MDO resource demand month over month into assigned eP (EnterProj) along with Program Management team - Attends and provides ME status to ME COC leadership team and respective Program lead during Program reviews as needed - Supports MDO Program specific internal/external audit and non-conformity closure on time (if any) Key Deliverables VPDS Gate 2: Award & Planning: Program Kick-off Stage: Must to Have (T0 + 30-days): •ME Scope and Sample definition - Confirm with MDO Delivery Manager that budget uploaded in eProj and as expected (EQI) - HC and expenses - MDO Project Timing Plan having EPIC, Stories, Tasks and Resource Assignments (in JIRA) - MDO Team Roaster (in eProj, JIRA, PLATO e1ns) - ME KPIs (On Time, On Quality and On Cost (EBOM Target & ME Budget) Must to Have (T0 + 60-days): - Confirm that SYS team with MDO Apps Eng translate SRD (System Requirement Document) to ME Derived Requirement Document (in JIRA – R4J) and linked them to the MDO EPIC (JIRA) - (as per Vistway level.1.4.97) - MDO Architecture Direction Document (Vistway doc#6595) - MDO ED Plan and Report (Vistway doc#3098 - Complete Product TDR checklist and report (ME part) (if not done at Gate 1) (Vistway doc#4020 and #5677) - Support DFMEA methodology defined as per Customer requirements (Vistway doc#7224) - Confirm Project Configuration Management Plan cover ME items (Vistway doc#2058) - Detail technical GAP analysis, and risk analysis (eP RIOs) - Complete and release MDO process Tailoring (Vistway Tailoring tool, doc#6493) Must to Have (T0 + 90-days): - ME Specification Document (in JIRA) - Confirm ME requirements (JIRA Artifacts) liked to JIRA ME EPIC VPDS Gate 3: Development Sample (A and B) wise Design & Development (>90-days): MDO Concept Design (Sample A): - ME requirements (JIRA Artifacts) has been review and assess by ME Team, risks identified - MDO ADD (Architecture Directional Document) (Vistway doc#6595) - Support TFT Display/BLU/Lens/Touch Compliance Matrix (Visteon Specification) (Vistway doc#7106) - ME BOM (including Display) Risk Analysis Report - Initial MDO DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) Document (
