Job description

**Role Purpose:** We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will drive cloud architecture strategy, lead modernization and AI initiatives, and work closely with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. **The responsibilities we entrust you** - Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure AWS cloud architectures. - Lead cloud migration and modernization/AI initiatives. - Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. - Architect containerized and microservices-based applications using Kubernetes/EKS and Docker. - Ensure cloud security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements are met. - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Collaborate with development teams to implement the new products in AWS. - Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across engineering teams. - Mentor engineers and contribute to strategic technology decisions. **Wha mattters in this role:** - 8–10 years of overall experience with at least 3+ years in AWS architecture. - Strong expertise in AWS services including: - EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, AWS Bedrock - Lambda, API Gateway - Glue, EMR - ECS/EKS - CloudWatch, IAM, Route 53 - Strong experience in cost optimization, monitoring, observability, and performance tuning. - Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management. - Experience designing distributed, high-volume, highly available systems. - Understanding of AIML related technologies and ability to architecture design for AIML based products - Experience in CI/CD tools and techniques. - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies. **Required Qualifications** - **AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional** - Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and event-driven architectures. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, SaaS, or Product-based organizations. - Exposure to GCP cloud environment **Education** - **Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.** **Success Metrics** - Cloud platform scalability and reliability. - Infrastructure cost optimization. - Successful delivery of cloud transformation initiatives. - Security and compliance adherence. - Engineering productivity and deployment efficiency improvements. **Communication & Ownership:** 1.
