**JOB DESCRIPTION:** - Review and approve Electrical MEP design deliverables, including Design Basis Reports (DBR), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, layouts, BOQs, and specifications prepared by consultants. - Ensure optimum design of HT/LT systems, substations, transformers, DG sets, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and power distribution systems. - Develop and standardize Electrical MEP design specifications and engineering standards across projects. - Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, CEA Regulations, ECBC, Fire NOC, and local statutory authority requirements. - Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, ELV, BMS, Commercial, Procurement, and Project teams for integrated design. - Support value engineering, technical evaluations, vendor assessments, and tendering activities. - Drive BIM implementation and multidisciplinary coordination across projects. - Evaluate new technologies and recommend cost-effective, sustainable engineering solutions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:** **Minimum Qualification:** - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, substations, DG sets, transformers, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, cable sizing, and electrical load calculations. - Knowledge of execution, testing, and commissioning will be an added advantage. **Minimum Experience:** - 14+ years of experience in Electrical MEP Design, preferably in the real estate industry or with leading MEP consultants. **RESPONSIBILITY AREA Electrical MEP Design** **Key Activities** - Review consultant drawings, calculations, BOQs, and specifications. - Ensure technically sound, optimized, and code-compliant electrical designs. - Coordinate with internal teams and consultants for design approvals. - Provide technical support during tendering and project execution. **Indicative Performance Measures** - Timely design reviews and approvals. - Compliance with company standards and statutory requirements. - Optimized and cost-effective designs. **RESPONSIBILITY AREA – Development & Process Improvement** **Key Activities** - Develop design standards and evaluate new technologies. - Recommend value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. - Drive BIM implementation and process improvements. - Ensure adherence to company processes and project timelines. **Indicative Performance Measures** - Standardization across projects. - Successful implementation of value engineering initiatives. - Process compliance and timely project delivery.
