As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise solutions that help clients modernize technology platforms and improve business outcomes. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical deliverables, support integration efforts, and help maintain reliable, secure, and performant applications. **Work you'll do** As a Software Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for: - Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - Building and integrating REST APIs and backend services to support scalable, secure, and high-performing applications - Collaborating with analysts, developers, and project teams to understand requirements, resolve technical issues, and deliver code aligned to design standards - Supporting code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization across frontend and backend components - Contributing to cloud-enabled deployments, CI/CD processes, and application support activities across the software development lifecycle **The team** Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation. **Location:** Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune **Shift Timings:** 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST **Qualifications** **Required** : - 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in C# and ASP.NET Core skills, proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experienced in developing high-performing Angular applications integrated with .Net backend. Good at maintaining and developing Angular applications. Basic understanding of the following: - Angular framework - TypeScript, and JavaScript - HTML, CSS - Angular CLI - RxJS - Integration of Angular integration with backend REST APIs. - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts - Should be able to provide correct definitions of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and able to differentiate between them. - Able to come up with class structure in adherence with object-oriented concepts - Able to identify mistakes / deviation from object-oriented principles in a given scenario or piece of code - Good understanding of enterprise application architecture, multi-tier architecture, and microservices. - Good knowledge of .net framework. Able to build simple projects and write working code without handholding. - Should be able to predict correct output of code snippets - Able to write impeccable code for the given scenario, should be able to consider performance and security aspects while writing code and justify the logic he/ she has written - Given multiple ways to fix a problem, should be able to select the best one and justify the same - Good understanding of Micro Services concepts - Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise applications, REST based services, multi-tier architecture - Explain best practices - Able to ensure effective inter-service communication and data consistency - Given a scenario, should be able to come up with high level design of micro services - Good understanding of RDBMS and SQL concepts, should be able to understand, troubleshoot and write complex SQL queries - Understanding of forms of Normalization. Able to do table design in accordance with standards. - Good understanding of any of the Full ORM(entity framework) or mini ORM(dapper) - Able to understand NoSQL concepts, familiarity with any of NOSQL databases. Able to explain prominent features of NOSQL databases. - Should be able to write test cases in tools/ frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, MSTest etc. - Angular Testing: Skills in Unit Testing (e.g., with Jasmine) and End-to-End Testing - Strong theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in basic advanced aspects of Angular concepts – - Good at State Management in Angular using tools like NgRx or Akita - Good understanding of cloud computing and any of the cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.). - Familiar with deployment in cloud and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) - Good grasp of asynchronous communication and its standard implementations - Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. Able to explain version control process and best practices. - Expertise in build-tools like MSBuils, NuGet etc. - Expertise in CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
