**Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Tester for the PI Germany business line within ITG – Personal Investors IT. The role is based in Chennai and will focus on automating and maintaining test artefacts and regression suites for mobile‑focused applications, supporting both automated and manual testing as needed. **Job Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, API‑testing tools, Cucumber and Gherkin, adhering to the enterprise Automation Framework. - Execute automated test suites and analyse results, reporting status and findings to the Test Lead/Test Manager and other project stakeholders. - Conduct manual testing when required, creating and maintaining relevant test sets. - Assess automation feasibility for functional test cases and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Nexus). - Provide technical guidance to fellow Automation Engineers on framework usage and best practices. - Collaborate closely with QA team members, developers and other project participants in an agile environment to ensure quality delivery. **Required Education, Skills, AND Experience (MUST‑HAVE)** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline. - Minimum 7 years of experience in software QA/testing, with at least 7 years dedicated to test automation using Appium and API testing tools. - Strong hands‑on expertise in Java and automation scripting for mobile testing (Appium, Cucumber, Gherkin). - Proven experience with CI/CD processes, GitLab and Nexus. - In‑depth knowledge of the BFSI domain; experience in personal finance or lending is highly desirable. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Education, Skills, AND Experience (NICE‑TO‑HAVE)** - Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as CSS, HTML, Node.js and Angular/AngularJS. - Practical experience with JIRA and XRay for test management. - Prior exposure to working in a fully integrated agile delivery model. - Additional certifications in test automation, mobile testing, or relevant technologies. **About BNP Paribas India Solutions** BNP Paribas India Solutions, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas SA, operates 24 × 7 delivery centers in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai.
