Model Based Design Engineer (Plant Model development)

Job description

**Roles and Responsibilities :** - 4+ years of experience in Automotive ECU software & hardware testing with strong defect identification skills - DSPACE with PROVETECH:TA along with Plant Modelling experience using MatLab/Simulink - Proficient in automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS (ISO 14229), Ethernet - Strong understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and test processes - Experience in validation of Body & Comfort ECUs, including lighting systems - Hands-on expertise in HIL testing concepts with involvement in end-to-end HIL project lifecycle (1–3 projects) - Experience with IBM DOORS Next Gen, PREEVision, and tools like JIRA, SVN - Skilled in test case design, test specification creation, and peer reviews - Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL, CANoe, and Vector VN hardware - Test automation expertise using AutomationDesk/ProveTech and scripting in CAPL, Python, VB, or C# - Experience in system-level validation, defect tracking, KPI reporting, and stakeholder management
