Senior Project Manager **Years of Experience:** 5-8 Years **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in scripting and Python programming. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive project success through technical expertise and leadership. **Responsibilities** - Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics. - Collaborate with technical teams to define project requirements and deliverables, ensuring that scripting and Python are effectively utilized. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and upper management. - Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary. - Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges. - Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members in best practices and technical skills. - Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. **Mandatory Skills** - Strong scripting knowledge, with a focus on Python programming. - Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project). - Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices. - Certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on scripting and Python. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects successfully. - Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
