We are a global leader in the technology arena and there's nothing that can stop us from growing together.** **What we are looking for** **Role: MQ Admin** **Experience Range: 3 to 7 Years** **Location: Chennai** **Interview Date: 8th August 26 (09:00 AM to 12:00 PM)** **Interview Venue: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Plot No. 1/G1, Sipcot IT Park, Navallar Post, Siruseri, Chennai – 603103.** **Note-While coming for Walkin:-** · Please carry 2 or more copies of updated resume, 2 Passport size photo along with Govt ID proof(Xerox 2 copies) · Please do not bring personal laptop or electronic gadgets to TCS premises. **Must Have:** - Managing and supporting IBM WebSphere MQ (now IBM MQ) messaging software, including installation, configuration, security, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include maintaining the reliability and performance of MQ systems, handling production support, and addressing incident and problem management. - Setting up and configuring MQ queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners, ensuring proper integration with applications and other systems. - Providing technical support for MQ environments, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability. - Implementing and maintaining security measures for MQ, including user authentication, access controls, and encryption. - Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in MQ systems, optimizing configuration for optimal performance. - Diagnosing and resolving production issues, collaborating with developers and other teams to resolve problems effectively. - Setting up and monitoring MQ systems for performance and availability issues, implementing alerting mechanisms to identify and address problems proactively. - Managing incidents and problems related to MQ, following established processes for resolution. - Developing and maintaining scripts for automating MQ administration tasks. - Maintaining documentation for MQ environments, including configuration details and troubleshooting procedures. - Strong understanding of messaging concepts, including queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners. **Good to Have:** - Typically requires 3+ years of experience in IT, with experience in WebSphere MQ administration, particularly with versions 6 or above. - Familiarity with different operating systems, including Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, and Linux. - Knowledge of security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with other teams and documenting procedures. - Familiarity with scripting languages for automating tasks. **Essential:** - Production Support - IBM WebSphere MQ Configurations. - Automating tasks **Minimum Qualification:** - 15 years of full-time education - Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
