Work location : Chennai and Bangalore Work mode : Hybrid Looking for a **Microsoft SQL Server BI/Data Warehouse Developer** with **6-8 years of hands-on experience** in the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, focused on data warehouse and analytics solutions. - The ideal candidate will have 68 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS. - They will design, develop, optimize, and support databases, data warehouses, data marts, semantic models, reports, and analytical solutions. - They must demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, MDX, and DAX for complex querying, data transformation, modeling, and performance tuning. - The candidate should be experienced in developing and maintaining SSAS Tabular and Multidimensional models, including measures, hierarchies, partitions, relationships, and security. - They should possess at least five years of practical experience developing, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining SSIS packages and SSRS reports. - A strong foundation in relational database concepts, dimensional modeling, normalization, indexing, partitioning, data quality, and ETL design is essential. - The role requires the ability to understand source systems, identify data risks, and translate business needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. - The candidate should be comfortable investigating root causes across data, code, infrastructure, and application dependencies. - They must write clean, modular, testable, version-controlled code and apply appropriate standards for logging, error handling, documentation, and deployment. Experience with SDLC, - Agile delivery, DevOps practices, source control, CI or CD, and release management is expected. - Familiarity with cloud data platforms, modern analytics architectures, automation, and emerging data technologies will be advantageous.
