**Job Description Azure Data Engineer** **Position:** Azure Data Engineer **Experience:** 6–8 Years **Location:** Mumbai – Yantra Park Role Overview We are seeking an experienced **Azure Data Engineer** with 6–8 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based data engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure data services. - Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing. - Develop data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Implement data storage and transformation solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to understand data requirements. - Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across data platforms. - Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and databases. - Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and enterprise data warehouse solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments. - Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation for data engineering projects. Required Skills - 6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing. - Strong hands-on experience with: - Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) - Azure Synapse Analytics - Azure Databricks - Azure SQL Database - Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning. - Strong experience with Python and/or PySpark. - Experience in building batch and real-time data processing solutions. - Knowledge of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema). - Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of data governance, security, and access management in Azure. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with Microsoft Fabric. - Knowledge of Power BI datasets and data integration. - Exposure to Spark optimization techniques. - Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Engineering (DP-203) is preferred. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Educational Qualification - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
