**Key Responsibilities** **MxML Integration and Reporting:** Utilize MxML Exchange to create and enhance interfaces for system integration, data import/export, and communication with upstream and downstream systems. Develop and maintain Datamart reports and custom extractions. · **Interface Development & Support:** Design, build, and maintain Murex interfaces, workflows, and exchanges using MxML and other technologies. · **Technical Configuration:** Configure and troubleshoot MxML Exchange processes for trade and market data. · **Data & Integration:** Work with XML-based data structures, write and optimize SQL queries, and support integration projects with external systems. · **Problem-Solving:** Assist in resolving integration-related issues and provide technical support for interfacing activities. · **Project Participation:** Engage in Murex implementation and upgrade projects, including delivery of interfaces and trade migrations. · **Documentation:** Document technical specifications and maintain system configuration records. · **Collaboration:** Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and other support teams. **Skill Set Requirements** · **Experience:** Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience with Murex MX.3, in a financial services or capital markets environment. · **Technical Expertise:** o Strong hands-on experience with Murex 3.1, specifically with MxML Exchange. o Proficiency in Murex workflows, processing scripts etc. o Solid command of SQL for data analysis and validation. Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting is required. o Knowledge of middleware technologies like Kafka is a plus. · **Financial Domain Knowledge:** Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and financial instruments. · **Integration Experience:** Hands-on experience in integration projects involving Murex and external systems. · **Communication:** Excellent communication skills to manage client expectations and collaborate effectively. · **Banking Experience:** o Proven experience in the financial services industry, ideally within capital markets or investment banking. o Experience with Murex upgrade projects is a significant advantage. **Key Competencies, Experiences, and Qualifications:** **Educational Background:** · Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or Information Technology or relevant qualification. **Preferred Skills:** · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
