Role **L3 Support, MYSQL Database Administrator** Required Technical Skill Set **MYSQL Database Administration** Desired Experience Range **8 to 10 years of experience** Location of Requirement **Hyderabad, Synergy Park** **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** 1. MYSQL Administration: Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on MYSQL. 2. In-depth knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation. 3. Expertise in Upgrades, backups and recovery procedures and equipped to design and implement disaster recovery. 4. Knowledge on Unix based operating system is must with fair knowledge on shell scripting. 5. Expertise in User access management. 6. Should have good troubleshooting experience. **Good-to-Have** Experience with other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and Knowledge of cloud database services. **Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role** **1** Adequate experience in MYSQL Databases with an excellent knowledge of MYSQL concepts in release 8.0 and above versions **2** Flexible in managing MYSQL Databases, user management and Upgradation. **3** Experience with design, implement, and manage database schemas, tables, indexes, and views. **4** Strong proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization **5** Experience with database security best practices, familiarity with backup and recovery procedures. **6** Strong communication and collaboration skills.
