**Location:** Bangalore, KA, IN **Company:** Alstom Could you be the full-time NT Network Designer in Bangalore we're looking for Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and results-driven teammates. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering NT Backbone Transmission Network BTN specifications that align with the System Delivery Plan, ensuring seamless deployment and integration. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), contribute to technical reviews, support deployment activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning, and much more. You'll specifically take care of BTN design specifications (Preliminary and Detailed Design), but also contribute to addressing plans and technical room surveys. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: - BE/Masters degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience - Work experience in IP-MPLS solutions (experience with Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent IP-MPLS portfolio is highly preferred) - Proven experience in LAN/WAN design and deployment of GbEthernet - Knowledge of RFC protocols, IP routing, QoS, and cybersecurity (802.1x, Radius, Firewall) - Familiarity with monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and general IP techniques - Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent) - Experience with fiber deployments and troubleshooting (desirable) - Knowledge of major telco suppliers like Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Huawei Things youll enjoy Join us on a life long transformative journey the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
