Jobr role: Senior Network Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations across our global enterprise network. This role requires strong operational expertise in Cisco networking technologiesespecially Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, LAN Switching and Meraki—along with the ability to troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN issues, maintain network stability, and support ongoing enhancements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive in identifying issues, and capable of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities BAU Operations & Support - Manage daily network operations, incident resolution, and service requests across LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure. - Perform advanced troubleshooting for network outages, performance degradation, and configuration errors. - Monitor network health using Cisco DNAC, Meraki Dashboard, and other monitoring tools. - Ensure timely resolution of P1/P2 incidents and provide root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures. Cisco ISE Administration (Mandatory) - Manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) including: - Authentication/Authorization policies (802.1X, MAB) - Profiling, guest access, Live logs anlysis and Tshoot - Certificate management and policy updates - Perform ISE upgrades, patching, and config backup/restore. - Troubleshoot endpoint authentication failures and radius/tacacs issues. Cisco DNA Center (Mandatory) - Operate and maintain Cisco DNAC for: - Network Assurance & Client Health monitoring - Software Image Management (SWIM) - Inventory and topology visibility - Support DNAC-based automation and configuration templates. Meraki Network Operations (Mandatory) - Administer Meraki MX, MS, and MR devices. - Review and optimize Meraki AutoVPN, traffic shaping, SD-Internet policies. - Maintain Meraki wireless networks, SSIDs, and guest access policies. - Perform dashboard analytics review and reporting. LAN/WAN Operations (Mandatory) - Configure and troubleshoot: - Switching (VLANs, STP, Trunking, EtherChannel, RSTP) - DNAC - Coordinate with ISPs for circuit issues and escalations. - Ensure high network availability and performance. - Handoson on Cisco Switching and Wilress controller Good-to-Have Skills Infoblox DDI - Support DNS/DHCP/IPAM operations. - Assist in DNS zone updates and IP reservations. SD-WAN - Basic operational knowledge of SD-WAN policies, overlays, underlays, and controllers. Firewalls (Checkpoint / Palo Alto) - Basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues involving security perimeter. - Understanding of rule reviews, NAT policies, and traffic flows. - rule creation Prisma Access (SASE) - Exposure to cloud security access technologies is a plus. Operational Responsibilities - Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation (as applicable). - Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and inventory. - Implement approved changes following ITIL change management (CAB). - Identify chronic issues and recommend improvements to architecture and operations. - Collaborate with security, network engineering, and service desk teams on cross-functional tasks. Required Skills & Experience Must-Have - 6–10+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience. - Strong expertise in Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN technologies. - Proficiency with routing/switching protocols and troubleshooting methodologies. - Experience in enterprise-scale BAU support with SLA-driven delivery. Good-to-Have - Infoblox DDI hands-on knowledge. - SD-WAN operational experience. - Checkpoint or Palo Alto firewall exposure. - Experience working with SASE/Prisma Access. Certifications (Preferred) - CCNP (Highly preferred) Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations. - Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
