Job description

Role: Network LAN Technology-Walkin Drive Experience:6+ years Location: Hyderabad **Job Requirements** 1. Install, configure, and support large-scale production and corporate network infrastructure including routers, switches, console servers and equipment. 2. Design and Configuration experience on Cisco ACI - Spine-leaf switches, APIC and APIC-EM controller, Nexus switches, VMware NSX-T/NSX-V, NSX Edge, NSX logical router, NSX Load balancer, NSX distributed Firewall 3. Extensive hands-on experience and troubleshooting experience in Network Protocols - BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, Stacking etc. 4. Expert Knowledge of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Ether channel and good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP) & load balancing concepts like - LACP, PaGP 5. Good understanding of DHCP, DNS - Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco ISR routers, switches, Wireless controller & ISE. 6. Strong hands-on work experience with Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K devices, Cisco Catalyst 3K & 4K series and Cisco ASR & ISR Router models 7. Experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting VPC, VSS, VDC, VPC, OTV, Fabric path, FCoE and Multi-tenancy in the datacenter. 8. Hands-on experience on Cisco DNAC - Solving reported request, incidents, and network problems of complexity 9. Troubleshooting network device hardware/configuration issues, isolating the problem, fixing the problem. 10. Schedule and perform network maintenance, repair, and upgrade tasks as needed while limiting the impact on the production network 11. Troubleshooting the routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, Static and OSPF and work with the ISPs and internal teams to resolve the issues 12. Experience working on CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters 13. Working knowledge on MPLS, Metro Ethernet and Hub & Spoke concepts Good Exposure to Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA), ISE & DNAC **Key Responsibilities** - Preparing specifications to define and illustrate network designs and configurations. - Need to design network solution architecture and implementation documentation (customer and operational). - Provide network LAN design, implementation, consulting and leadership for data and congregated communication infrastructure utilizing available Network equipment. - Perform design integration for complex, cross-functional systems and lead technical design reviews of various infrastructure projects and function as a high-level technical resource. - should provide Network Design Engineering services in support of a global customer's network. - Should develop network designs and cost models for customer specific opportunities and same to be presented to product and contract management teams. - Define and follow standards and best practices for network design, testing, and implementation methodology. - Should develop network designs and cost models for different models & requirements. - Review the network design and bill of material with project manager and peer network engineers. - Coordinate schedules, tasks, resources, and dependencies for network design projects. - Training the peers on end-to-end network designs and operating procedures. - Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WAN accelerators, Load Balancers - Focusing on high-level design and planning for multiple LAN Upgrade projects globally - Investigating faults in the network & IP address auditing. - Resolve incidents/problems/Changes according to established procedures - Work on Service improvement activities and completing it within the target dates. - Reporting network status to key stakeholders
