This role requires a strong blend of network security design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting expertise across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering security solutions, creating high-quality design and implementation documentation, and working with customers to secure critical network infrastructures. The role involves designing, deploying, and optimizing technologies such as Firewalls, Identity Security, Email Security, Web Security, and Cloud Security solutions. You will collaborate with global teams, support customer engagements, and play a key role in safeguarding enterprise environments against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities Security Design & Consulting - Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network security solutions. - Prepare comprehensive: - High-Level Design (HLD) documents - Low-Level Design (LLD) documents - Implementation plans - Migration plans - Change management documentation - Optimization and assessment reports - Provide security architecture recommendations aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices. - Lead technical discussions with customers and stakeholders. Security Technology Implementation Implement and support one or more of the following security technologies: Firewall Security - Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD) - Cisco ASA - Palo Alto Networks - Check Point - Fortinet Identity & Access Security - Cisco ISE - NAC Solutions - AAA Frameworks - Authentication & Authorization Solutions Email Security - Cisco Secure Email - Secure Messaging Gateways - Anti-Spam and Anti-Phishing Solutions Web Security / Proxy Security - Cisco Secure Web Appliance - Proxy Technologies - URL Filtering Solutions - Secure Internet Access Platforms Cloud Security - Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) - Cloud Security Posture Solutions - Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Security Architectures Network Security Operations & Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot complex L1L7 network and security issues. - Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution. - Analyze packet captures and protocol behavior. - Resolve connectivity, routing, security policy, and application communication issues. - Conduct security assessments and recommend remediation actions. Networking Responsibilities - Design and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments. - Manage complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks. - Support routing protocols including: - BGP - OSPF - EIGRP - Static Routing - Analyze TCP/IP communication issues and performance bottlenecks. - Work with enterprise WAN, LAN, and data center architectures. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering or Professional Services environments. - Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions. - Experience creating technical design and implementation documentation. - Hands-on experience with Firewalls, Identity, Email Security, Web Security, or Cloud Security technologies. - Strong understanding of network architecture and security principles. - Proven troubleshooting expertise across network and security layers.
