Open up opportunities with HPE. **Job Description** Validates customer-focused networking solutions through system-level testing, automation, and solution certification activities. Designs, develops, and executes test plans and automated test cases to accelerate validation cycles and ensure product quality, scalability, performance, and deployment readiness. Works closely with customers, engineering, and cross-functional teams to validate customer-specific use cases, identify product gaps, and improve overall system reliability across Service Provider and Cloud networking environments. **Individual Contributor (IC)** Works independently on complex customer deployment and system validation projects that require strong expertise in Service Provider and Cloud networking technologies, system testing, and automation. Operates within established processes with moderate supervision while taking ownership of customer-specific test activities. Understands customer deployment architectures, develops and executes comprehensive test plans, generates customer-consumable test artifacts such as reports and logs, and certifies software releases for customer-specific deployment scenarios. Collaborates effectively with development, field engineering, and customer teams to ensure successful solution validation. **What You'll Do** - Perform customer-focused testing, including feature, scale, migration, performance, and end-to-end solution validation. - Analyze customer deployment architectures, network topologies, and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies. - Collaborate with Field Engineers, Sales Engineers, Customers, and Product Development teams to understand use cases and define test coverage requirements. - Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans. - Build, configure, and maintain test lab environments that accurately represent customer deployments. - Configure, test, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and networking devices running Junos/EVO operating systems. - Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python, Robot Framework, Perl, or similar technologies. - Execute automated and manual test cases for feature validation, interoperability, performance, and scale testing. - Analyze test results and identify functional, performance, scalability, and reliability issues. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and work closely with software development teams to resolve product defects. - Evaluate customer requirements and identify test coverage gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. - Utilize industry-standard traffic generation and validation tools such as Ixia and Spirent. - Prepare and deliver test reports, technical documentation, status updates, and customer-facing presentations. - Participate in customer design workshops and technical review meetings. - Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and validation processes. - Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans effectively to customers and internal stakeholders. - Leverage AI-driven automation, AI agents, and emerging AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, accelerate test execution, increase test coverage, and enhance overall product quality and solution validation. **What You Need To Bring** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 7+ years of experience in Networking Systems Engineering, System Testing, Solution Validation, or related fields. - Experience working with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments. - Hands-on experience with large-scale network deployments, system-level testing, and customer solution validation. - Experience developing test automation solutions using Python and/or Robot Framework. - Experience with network traffic generation and testing platforms such as Ixia and Spirent. - Experience working in customer-facing technical roles is preferred. - Prior experience with Juniper Junos/EVO platforms is highly desirable. - Networking certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. - Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN/L3VPN, VLAN, QoS, and related technologies. - Hands-on experience in system testing, solution validation, test automation, and troubleshooting complex Service Provider and Cloud networking environments. - Proficient in Python and automation frameworks, with working knowledge of network testing tools such as Ixia and Spirent. - Demonstrated ability to analyze customer network architectures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills, with the ability to operate successfully in fast-paced and dynamic project environments. - Familiarity with AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies to improve test efficiency, cover
