## **Job Description:** - Join a high impact engineering team where you will lead the design and delivery of scalable backend platforms powered by Node - js GraphQL and modern cloud services on AWS and Azure - This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys solving complex system challenges shaping technical direction and partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable secure and high performing solutions - You will work in a collaborative environment that values clear communication strong engineering practices and continuous improvement - From defining architecture standards to guiding teams through delivery you will play a key role in building cloud native services that enable product growth and operational excellence ## **Key Responsibilities:** - Key Responsibilities - Architecture Technical Leadership - Lead the architecture and development of backend services using Node - js and GraphQL ensuring scalability maintainability and performance - Define API standards schema design guidelines and best practices for GraphQL queries mutations and resolvers - Drive technical decision making conduct design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering standards - Cloud Engineering AWS Azure - Design and implement cloud native solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services focusing on reliability security and cost optimization - Establish deployment patterns and operational practices for cloud workloads including monitoring logging and incident readiness - Ensure cloud governance adherence including identity access management and secure configuration practices - Delivery Collaboration - Partner with product engineering and cross functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans - Mentor engineers provide technical guidance and support team execution through code reviews and engineering coaching - Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders and provide regular status updates ## **Technical Requirements:** - Minimum Qualifications - 9 years of overall experience in backend engineering with strong hands on expertise in Node - js - Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs including schema design and resolver patterns - Strong experience delivering solutions on AWS and Azure including architecture deployment and operations - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive technical alignment ## **Additional Responsibilities:** - Preferred Qualifications - Experience building cloud native backend platforms with strong focus on performance tuning scalability and resilience - Expertise in API lifecycle management versioning strategies and governance for GraphQL based services - Experience implementing security best practices for cloud and APIs including authentication authorization patterns and secure access controls - Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end to end from discovery and design through delivery and operationalization - Track record of mentoring teams improving engineering practices and driving consistent code quality through reviews and standards - Good to have skills - TypeScript Apollo Server Docker Kubernetes CI CD Pipelines ## **Preferred Skills:** Technology->API query language->GraphQL,Technology->Cloud Platform->Amazon Webservices DevOps,Technology->Reactive Programming->NodeJS
