**Role & responsibilities** a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } - Respond promptly and accurately to incoming faxes and determine the appropriate action required. - Document and process information in designated tracking systems, escalating cases as per established procedures. - Review and process patient applications according to program guidelines to determine eligibility. - Maintain accurate records, complete follow-ups, and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers. - Coordinate prescription orders and transfers to specialty pharmacies based on urgency and program requirements. - Verify insurance coverage and benefits for prescribed medications. - Educate patients on available insurance and reimbursement options when applicable. - Perform patient enrollment activities, including reviewing eligibility criteria and processing approvals or denials. - Conduct periodic re-verification of patient eligibility to maintain compliance and accuracy. - Ensure accurate data entry and documentation of patient information, enrollment details, and verification results. - Handle sensitive healthcare data while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and compliance guidelines. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and remove barriers that impact patient access to therapy. - Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and accountability while meeting deadlines and productivity goals. - Work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks independently. Required Skills - US Healthcare experience is mandatory. - Knowledge of Insurance Verification, Patient Enrollment, Reverification, and Healthcare Documentation. - Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and handling confidential patient information. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills. - Excellent data entry and accuracy skills. - Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
