**Position: NPI / NPD Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing Services)** **Location: Hyderabad / Mysore** **Department: NPI & Engineering** **Designation: Engineer / Senior Engineer NPI (PCBA)** **Position Overview:** Responsible for NPI and engineering execution of PCB Assembly projects in an AS9100-certified aerospace/defense or EMS environment, ensuring compliance to IPC standards and smooth transition from prototype to production. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead NPI activities for PCBA from prototype to production. • Execute APQP, BOM validation, and project planning. • Conduct DFM/DFA reviews as per IPC guidelines. • Ensure process readiness and compliance with AS9100 quality requirements. • Coordinate prototype, pilot, and production builds with cross-functional teams. • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions during NPI and early production. **Technical Skills & Standards** • Strong experience in PCB Assembly (PCBA). • Hands-on knowledge of: • SMT / PTH processes • Pick & Place machines • Reflow and Wave soldering • X-ray inspection • PCBA-level testing (ICT, FCT, Functional testing) • Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721 preferred). • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems, documentation, and audits. **Qualification** • Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics or related discipline. • 58 years of relevant experience in Aerospace / Defense / EMS manufacturing. **Professional Growth** - Opportunity to work in a **global aerospace and defense manufacturing environment**. - Hands-on exposure to **advanced PCBA technologies and complex NPI programs**. - Clear career progression path from **Engineer to Senior Engineer** roles. **Technical Exposure** - Experience working in an **AS9100-certified environment**. - Involvement in **high-reliability aerospace and defense products**. - Opportunity to enhance expertise in **IPC standards and advanced PCBA testing**. **Work Environment** - Collaborative, cross-functional engineering culture. - Exposure to **end-to-end NPI lifecycle**, from design reviews to production ramp-up. - Opportunity to work with **leading global customers**. **Organizational Benefits** - Competitive compensation aligned with experience and skill level. - Stable role within a **well-established EMS organization**. - Access to internal training, quality systems, and process excellence initiatives.
