**Job Title: Officer / Senior Officer - Production (Electrical & Maintenance)** **Department: Production** **Location: Chennai (Extensive travel across Co-Packer locations in Tamil Nadu)** **Number of Openings: 2** **Job Summary:** We are looking for a highly motivated and technically competent Officer / Senior Officer - Electrical & Maintenance to support maintenance operations across our Co-Packer manufacturing facilities. The role primarily focuses on Electrical Maintenance of production equipment and utilities while also supporting Mechanical Maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and maximum equipment uptime. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform **preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance** of production machinery, utilities, and electrical systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime. - Troubleshoot and **rectify electrical and mechanical faults** in production lines, packaging equipment, bottling machines, motors, drives, control panels, and utilities. - Monitor and maintain electrical systems & instrumentation equipment. - Support installation, commissioning, modification, and continuous improvement of production and utility equipment. - Conduct **root cause analysis** (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring breakdowns. - Coordinate with Co-Packer maintenance teams and external vendors for maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts management. - Maintain maintenance records, service reports, equipment history, and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and company standards. - Travel across Co-Packer locations to provide technical support, conduct maintenance audits, and ensure smooth plant operations. **Eligibility Criteria:** - **Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred).** - Candidates with Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) background will be highly preferred. - Mechanical candidates with strong hands-on electrical maintenance experience may also be considered. - **2 to 6** years of experience in Electrical Maintenance and Plant Maintenance. - Experience in FMCG, Beverage, Bottling, Packaging, Food Processing or Manufacturing industries preferred. - **Willingness to travel frequently across assigned Co-Packer locations.** **Key Skills:** - Preventive Maintenance - Breakdown Maintenance - Electrical Maintenance - Mechanical Maintenance - Machine Troubleshooting - Production Equipment Maintenance - Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Utility Maintenance - Vendor Coordination - Safety Compliance **Preferred Candidate Profile:** - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive approach towards machine reliability and operational excellence.
