Job Summary\\*\\* Cyient, Inc. is seeking an experienced Offshore SACS Engineer specializing in Civil & Structural disciplines. This role involves performing structural analysis and design for offshore platforms and structures using SACS software, ensuring compliance with relevant industry codes and standards. Job Responsibilities\\*\\* \\* Execute structural analysis and design of offshore structures (e.g., jackets, topsides, foundations) using SACS software. \\* Develop structural models, perform static and dynamic analysis, and conduct fatigue analysis. \\* Interpret analysis results, prepare detailed design reports, and provide technical recommendations. \\* Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards such as API, AISC, DNV, and ISO. \\* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including naval architects, mechanical, and piping engineers. \\* Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and resolve complex engineering challenges. \\* Prepare technical specifications, scope of work documents, and material requisitions. \\* Conduct structural integrity assessments and support construction and installation activities. \\* Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in offshore structural engineering. Job Qualifications\\*\\* \\* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering. \\* Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore structural engineering, with a strong focus on SACS software. \\* Proficiency in using SACS for structural analysis, design, and fatigue assessment. \\* In-depth knowledge of international offshore structural design codes and standards (e.g., API RP 2A, AISC, DNV-OS-C101). \\* Experience with other structural analysis software (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS) is a plus. \\* Strong understanding of steel design, connection design, and foundation engineering principles for offshore applications. \\* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. \\* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \\* Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.
