**Job Purpose** The PMO Manager, Technology Projects, CBG, will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects within the Consumer Banking Group. This role involves establishing and maintaining robust project management frameworks, tracking project progress, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to compliance and governance standards across all technology initiatives impacting CBG. **Job Duties & Responsibilities** ***Project Governance and Oversight:*** - Implement and enforce project management standards and procedures for all technology projects within the CBG department, aligning with DBS's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Standard and Group Technology Risk Management Standards. - Establish project steering committees for large and complex projects, guiding them, managing risks, and overseeing progress. - Ensure all IT projects integrate security by design principles from inception. - Collaborate with various functions, including the Central Operations Office (COO), Line of Business Technology (LOBT), and Support Units (SU), to coordinate project activities and address roadblocks. - Oversee the change management process for technology implementations, ensuring proper categorization, approval, and impact assessment for both managed and heightened changes, including project cutovers. - Participate in Regional Production Change Control Board (RPCCB) meetings to review and formalize change schedules, discuss failed changes, and approve major project implementations. ***Project Tracking, Monitoring, and Reporting:*** - Track and monitor the progress of all technology projects within CBG, ensuring they align with planned timelines and objectives. - Generate and present regular project status reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to relevant stakeholders and senior management. - Utilize tools such as Jira for demand management, issue tracking, and overall project oversight. - Support PMO activities related to Regional Digital Product Delivery and GSTAR (Group Strategy, Transformation, Analytics & Research) initiatives within CBG. ***Risk Management:*** - Collaborate with the Technology Risk Management team to identify, assess, and manage technology risks associated with CBG projects. - Ensure project compliance with relevant technology risk management policies, standards, and guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements. - Monitor and escalate significant issues or roadblocks to senior management. - Work with relevant teams to ensure effective management of third-party services and vendor selection processes for technology projects. ***Collaboration and Communication:*** - Act as a central point of coordination for various COO activities related to CBG technology projects. - Facilitate seamless collaboration among different functions, including technology teams, business units, and support units. - Communicate project updates, risks, and changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders. **Education / Preferred Qualifications /Experience** - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certification in PMP/PMI are preferred. - Possessing 15-19 years of progressive experience in IT project management as a Project Manager or Program Manager with leading Banks, FinTech companies, or Software companies within Consumer Banking Group (CBG) products, and having overall PMO experience. **Core Competencies** - Proven experience in a Project Management Office role, ideally within the technology domain of a financial institution. - Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. - Familiarity with the Consumer Banking Group (CBG) business and its technology landscape. - Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance in the banking sector. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Experience with tools such as Jira, as well as an understanding of concepts like SDLC and change management processes. - Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading and motivating project teams and engaging diverse stakeholders. - In-depth knowledge and practical application of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
