Position: Operation Analyst – Trade Finance-SCF (supply chain finance) & Trade Loan Experience: 5-8 years Category: Operations Shift: Night shift Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Graduate degree required (MBA preferred), preferably in Finance, Banking, or related discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. We are seeking an experienced Operation Analyst to work on CGI’s proprietary Trade Finance platform, Trade360®. Trade360® is a comprehensive, SaaS-based global trade finance platform supporting banking trade services across 80+ countries and 130+ locations, serving more than 30,000 portal users. The platform enables banks to deliver Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Payables, Receivables, and Cash Management services through a single, integrated system featuring advanced imaging, workflow, reporting, and XML-based integration architecture. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain expertise in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance and experience in banking product implementation environments. Your future duties and responsibilities SCF programme operations Onboard buyers/anchors onto SCF platforms, validate supplier invoices, approve and reject invoices per programme limits, manage early payment disbursements, and reconcile receivables at maturity. Trade loan processing Process drawdown requests, verify supporting trade documents (LC, invoices, BL, insurance), calculate interest accruals and repayment schedules, and manage rollover and prepayment instructions. Documentation & compliance Review facility agreements, sanction credit approvals, ensure KYC/AML checks are current, and flag documentation exceptions to the credit and compliance teams before disbursement. Reconciliation & settlements Perform daily nostro and position reconciliations, resolve funding breaks, coordinate with treasury for FX funding needs, and ensure T+0/T+1 settlement SLAs are met. Systems & data integrity Maintain accurate records in the core banking/trade finance system, raise system exceptions, and support UAT for product or system enhancements. Stakeholder management Act as the operational point of contact for relationship managers, clients, and correspondent banks. Respond to queries on transaction status, charges, and documentation within agreed SLAs. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Good to have Skills- Graduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field 5–8 years in trade finance or transaction banking operations Hands-on experience with SCF platform operations (buyer/supplier finance) Working knowledge of trade loan structures – clean, usance, packing credit Familiarity with UCP 600, URDG 758, and ICC trade rules Strong documentation review skills – LC, BL, commercial invoices Proficiency in MS Excel; comfortable with data reconciliation Experience with Trade360, Finastra, Surecomp, or similar TF platforms CDCS / CITF certification (or in progress) Exposure to reverse factoring or dynamic discounting programmes Understanding of SWIFT messaging (MT202, MT103, MT799) Experience in a process improvement or automation initiative Behavioural competencies High accuracy and attention to detail under volume pressure — trade operations are zero-tolerance for errors Ability to prioritise and manage multiple transactions across different time zones and settlement deadlines Proactive in escalating exceptions and credit/compliance concerns without waiting for direction Clear written and verbal communication for internal teams, clients, and correspondent banks Good to have Skills-Forfaiting & receivables discounting ,Commodity / structured trade finance basics,  Bank guarantee & SBLC handling Letter of credit operations
