Job description

**RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Operations :** - Manage Record to Report operations of specific region(s) assigned in the most efficient and cost effective way - Meet / Exceed and improve KPI and quality targets in the operations - Actively involve in development, integration and transfer of the processes from regions to GFC - Drive standardization of the Record to Report processes - Actively identify and drive continuous improvement efforts - Constantly Benchmark the operations with peers within the organization to improve performance - Identify levers and implement actions to enhance efficiency in all operational areas **People :** - Create, Retain and Develop a strong team with the necessary skills and expertise to ensure a high quality of service - Effective Performance Management by - Setting right objectives in a timely manner - Giving timely feedback - Assess competencies, identify and execute development needs - Maintain high level of motivation within the team **Customer** : - Maintain strong governance with the region(s) assigned - Build and maintain healthy rapport and trust with all up-stream and down-stream stake-holders to the Record to Report process in the regions(s) - Maintain and improve customer delight by working closely with key internal customers - Actively contribute towards strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required **Qualifications Skills:** **EDUCATION** CA / CA Inter or Post-Graduate in Accounting / Finance Language: English (mandatory) **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** - Impactful communication - Team management skills - Time management and prioritization - Effective delegation - Conflict management - Continual improvement mindset - Customer centricity - Data oriented problem solving **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE** Mandatory - Deep understanding of IFRS and IND-AS accounting standards - Intermediate skills in ERP - Intermedaite skills in excel, power-point - Exposure in automations, RPAs - Strong understanding of internal controls - Ability to build processes models **Desirable** - Green belt in Six Sigma **AIR VALUES (Agile, Inclusive Responsible) BEHAVIOUR:** - Capacity to continuously adapt to a changing environment by showing a pro-active and positive approach - Actively listen to people, encouraging feedback and sharing experiences - Make things simple - Focus on our goals and prioritize our actions - Be curious and have an appetite for learning - Work as a team and avoid silos - Ask questions instead of making assumptions - Show respect for others individuality and cultural identity - Keep our commitments towards internal and external stakeholders (employees, customers, passengers, society) - Comply with our code of ethics and support the use of the Alstom Alert Procedure - Learn from your mistakes and implement corrective actions **EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET** - Candidates must be either Chartered Accountants with 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in R2R team management roles, **or** CA Inter/Postgraduate - professionals with 12-15 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in R2R team management positions
