Job description

Operations Controlling Analyst Your job: - Provide standardized global operations controlling analysis and reports for multiple production sites worldwide, with a particular focus on manufacturing order performance, product cost transparency and variance reporting. - Ensure consistent definitions, methodologies, and high data quality across all reports. - Collect, validate, and consolidate data from different plants in close collaboration with local controllers while taking site-specific requirements and challenges into account. - Analyze operational and financial performance such as costs, productivity, and variances, highlight key trends and deviations and discuss the results with the individual plants. - Support the further standardization and harmonization of reporting structures, KPIs, templates, by working closely with the plants and helping translate central requirements into practical solutions. - Act as a central reporting and consulting interface between global governance and local operations controlling teams. - Support ad-hoc analyses and management requests related to global operations controlling. Your qualification: - Bachelors or master’s degree in finance, Controlling, Business Administration, CMA Inter / Qualified CMA. - Professional experience in an operations controlling position with a good understanding of operations controlling and manufacturing-related processes (e.g. cost structures, variances, productivity KPIs) and the ability to connect financial data with operational drivers. - Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a structured, detail-oriented and solution-driven working style. - Very good knowledge of Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP BW, or similar) and a strong interest in automation, digitalization, and AI-supported analytics are an advantage. - Practical experience with SAP systems (e.g. SAP CO, FI, MM, PP, BW), including data extraction and report preparation. - Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders across different cultures and functions with a consulting mindset and with the ability to build trust, understand plant-specific requirements, and balance central standards with practical local needs. - Strong communication skills in English with the ability to explain figures and analyses in a clear and concise way. - Advantage of your position: Close proximity to the local Operations Controlling team, providing the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of processes, challenge existing structures, and continuously improve reporting quality and relevance.
