TEAM OVERVIEW The Global Treasury team manages liquidity, funding, and banking relationships across regions and business lines. The team partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial control, operational efficiency, and compliance while driving automation, integration, and continuous improvement across the firm’s global treasury infrastructure. POSITION SUMMARY The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities performed by the team, hiring, training, and establishing priorities. This role provides frequent exposure to various business leaders and the opportunity to drive impactful changes. • The Assistant Vice President will lead treasury vertical(s) supporting global teams, oversee end-to-end operational processes, and play a pivotal role in driving strategic transformation initiatives. • This individual will manage a high-performing team, lead key automation and system integration projects, and serve as a critical liaison across global Treasury, Finance, Operations, Technology, and external banking partners. • The ideal candidate combines technical treasury expertise, project execution capability, and strong leadership and communication skills to influence outcomes across regions and functions. • AI Curiosity & Adaptability: Proactively explores and applies AI tools, demonstrating the agility to leverage emerging technologies for analysis, problem-solving, and productivity. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Leadership & Team Management • Lead treasury operations vertical(s), ensuring delivery excellence, control adherence, and high performance. • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture. • Establish clear priorities, performance goals, and development plans aligned with global objectives. 2. Strategic Projects & Transformation • Drive global treasury transformation initiatives including automation, process optimization, and system integrations. • Partner with Technology and Operations teams to implement digital solutions improving efficiency, control, and scalability. • Support global standardization of treasury processes and policies, embedding best practices across geographies. 3. Treasury Operations & Controls • Own and strengthen the treasury governance framework, embedding robust controls across processes, entities, and business lines. • Govern access and entitlements across banking portals, treasury platforms, and shared workspaces, ensuring appropriate approvals, segregation of duties, and adherence to established controls. • Provide senior oversight and sign-off across control-sensitive workflows, including banking access provisioning and insurance-related controls. • Partner with internal and external audit on the design and operating effectiveness of controls, participating in walkthroughs and bridging audit teams with process owners. • Continuously review, rationalize, and enhance the control environment, identifying gaps and driving remediation and process improvement. • Own the review, maintenance, and timely update of policies, advising stakeholders on policy-related matters and interpretation. • Provide governance and oversight across the transaction and distribution lifecycle, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and appropriate approvals through completion. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with banks, service providers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value and meet deadlines. • Document and maintain processes and SOPs, ensuring they are periodically reviewed and aligned with the control framework. • Own ad-hoc governance and control initiatives as required. 4. Stakeholder Management • Partner with global Treasury leadership, leadership across functions, fund controllers, and technology teams to align on priorities and deliverables. • Act as a key point of escalation for issues and ensure timely resolution. • Build and maintain strong relationships with external banking partners and counterparties. • Collaborate across regions (U.S., EMEA, APAC) to deliver consistent, high-quality treasury services.
