**Key Responsibilities** - **Lens Preparation:** Read and interpret prescriptions from optometrists or ophthalmologists to select correct lens materials and sizes. - **Machine Operation:** Use automated or manual edge-grinding, cutting, and drilling equipment to shape lenses with high precision. - **Quality Control:** Inspect finished eyewear for optical clarity, surface defects, and correct axis alignment. - **Eyewear Adjustment:** Align, repair, and fit finished frames to accommodate individual facial structures. - **Lab Maintenance:** Clean equipment, track inventory for lenses and frames, and manage day-to-day workshop safety
