Specialist - System Management Role Name Oracle Postgres DBA Location PAN India Principal responsibilities The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of 24x7 production support to Oracle and Postgrespreferred databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team Expertise in Oracle RAC and Database Perform troubleshooting Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes EXPERT knowledge in Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues in Oracle Database Lead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team members Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setups Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery Identify automation and SelfHealing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes Knowledge on PostgreSQL architecture background processes and storage structure Knowledge of database objects such as schemas tables indexes constraints and partitioning Awareness of replication concepts and high availability architecture Hands on experience of WAL mechanism archiving and basic backup recovery concepts Knowledge of transaction management locking and concurrency control In Postgres Basic performance monitoring concepts including query behaviour and database growth management Experience on autovacuum process and database maintenance activities Knowledge of rolebased access control authentication methods and security best practices Familiarity with production support processes and incident handling in PostgreSQL environments Required Skill Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard OGG Expertise in 12c19c versions OEM Build and DeployImplement Solutions Perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning Expertise in Troubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutions Expertise in RMAN BackupRestoreRecovery Expertise in Role swap Failover planning and implementation Strong technical knowledge of database space management Implementing releases service requests Expertise in GoldenGate Expertise in Database upgrades and migrations Additional Skill Knowledge on Oracle Cloud Knowledge on UNIX based OS Knowledge of MongoDB Db2 LUW technology knowledge of automation tool like Ansible Puppet Tanium Knowledge about Agile practices and DevOps tools Soft skills Behavioural Qualities Efficiently manage all tasks Taking ownership of tasks assigned tasks Proactive approach in taking tasks Active listening skills Clear Precise and Timely communication with CustomerTeam MembersManagement Ready to work in 365 days 24 x 7 environment as per BusinessProject requirements
