Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Job Description • Works with business groups to analyze, define, and address business requirements for applications and interfaces. • Develops cost and resource estimates for projects. • Designs, develops, tests, and supports enterprise applications and services according to specifications within a collaborative team environment. • Prepares detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans, and user manuals. • Provides recommendations on database design, SQL optimization, and application architecture. • Provides technical leadership for project teams during implementation activities. • Performs unit, system, and validation testing as needed. • Coordinates with Operations staff on application deployment and with IT Service Desk teams to provide ongoing production support. • Provides guidance and mentoring to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities. • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. • Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions while receiving minimal day-to-day supervision. • Functions as a fully qualified, career-oriented professional capable of resolving a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development. • Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. • Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-level Oracle database applications. • Experience with database design, SQL optimization, and application integrations/interfaces. • Ability to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable business applications. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers preferred. • Experience with Java development preferred. • Experience with Crystal Reports preferred.
