**Job Title: Oracle Financial Consultant (Oracle E-Business Suite - EBS)** **Experience:** 3–15 Years Location: Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Noida, Bangalore and Kolkata **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced **Oracle Financial Consultant (Oracle EBS)** with 3–15 years of experience in implementing, supporting, upgrading, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and related financial processes. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, providing end-to-end functional solutions, supporting Oracle Financial implementations, and ensuring optimal system performance aligned with business objectives. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Finance and Accounting processes and translate them into Oracle EBS Financial solutions. - Participate in end-to-end Oracle EBS Financial implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects. - Configure and maintain Oracle Financial modules based on business requirements and Oracle best practices. - Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize financial operations. - Prepare functional requirement documents (FRD), solution design documents, configuration documents, test cases, and user manuals. - Configure and support Oracle Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), E-Business Tax (EBTax), and iExpenses. - Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, interfaces, conversions, reports, workflows, and extensions. - Support data migration activities including master data, opening balances, and transactional data validation. - Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in defect resolution. - Provide production support by troubleshooting functional issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring timely issue resolution within SLA. - Work closely with business users, finance teams, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business operations. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities and ensure system readiness. - Coordinate with Oracle SCM, Procurement, Projects, and HR teams for cross-functional business processes. - Support integrations with third-party applications and Oracle modules. - Participate in release management, patch testing, change requests, and post-production support. - Lead client discussions, solution workshops, and functional demonstrations. - Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on Oracle Financial processes and best practices. - Prepare effort estimates, project plans, status reports, and identify project risks and mitigation strategies. - Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and Oracle implementation methodologies. - Stay updated with Oracle EBS Financial enhancements, statutory updates, and industry best practices. **Key Skills** **Oracle Financial Modules** - Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials - General Ledger (GL) - Accounts Payable (AP) - Accounts Receivable (AR) - Fixed Assets (FA) - Cash Management (CM) - E-Business Tax (EBTax) - iExpenses - Subledger Accounting (SLA) - Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) (Preferred) - Oracle Payments - Advanced Collections - Intercompany Accounting **Functional Skills** - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) - Order-to-Cash (O2C) - Record-to-Report (R2R) - Financial Closing - Budgeting & Forecasting - Financial Reporting - Bank Reconciliation - Tax Configuration - Multi-Org & Multi-Currency Setup - Accounting and Financial Compliance **Technical & Integration Skills** - Oracle Workflow - BI Publisher - XML Publisher - Oracle Reports - SQL - PL/SQL - Interfaces - Conversions - API Integration - Data Migration - Oracle Application Framework (OAF) (Preferred) **Implementation Skills** - Requirement Gathering - Fit-Gap Analysis - Solution Design - Functional Configuration - Functional Documentation - SIT & UAT - Go-Live & Hypercare Support - Production Support - Change & Release Management - Root Cause Analysis **Soft Skills** - Strong functional and accounting knowledge - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management - Client-facing consulting experience - Leadership and mentoring capabilities - Cross-functional collaboration - Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall project environments - Strong documentation and presentation skills **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or Oracle EBS Financial Certification is preferred. - Experience in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 implementations, rollouts, upgrades, support, and enhancements. - Experience working with global clients across Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, Healthcare, Telecom, or other enterprise industries. - Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, statutory compliance, and Oracle Financial best practices.
