**Role & responsibilities** **Job Title:Oracle PaaS Developer (OIC & VBCS)** **Experience: 5+ YOE** **Location: Kolkata, Hyderabad** **Job Description** **Role Overview** The Oracle PaaS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations and applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The role focuses on building scalable cloud-based solutions, integrating various enterprise systems, and enhancing business processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop **integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)** - Build and maintain applications using **Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)** - Develop and manage: - App-driven integrations - Scheduled integrations - Event-based integrations - Create and expose **REST/SOAP web services** - Design **end-to-end integration flows** between Oracle Cloud (ERP, HCM) and third-party systems - Work with **adapters** (ERP, REST, SOAP, FTP, DB, etc.) - Implement **data transformations using XSLT, XPath, and mapping tools** - Develop **UI applications and dashboards** using VBCS - Integrate VBCS applications with backend services (OIC / REST APIs) - Perform **unit testing, integration testing, and deployments** - Monitor and troubleshoot integration errors in OIC - Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions - Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Hands-on experience with **Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)** - Experience in **VBCS development (UI design, business objects, service connections)** - Strong knowledge of: - REST & SOAP APIs - JSON, XML, XSLT, XPath - Experience in **integration patterns** and middleware concepts - Familiarity with **Oracle SaaS applications (ERP/HCM/SCM)** - Knowledge of **data mapping and transformation techniques** - Understanding of **security concepts (OAuth, JWT, SSL)** - Good debugging and troubleshooting skills **Preferred Skills** - Experience with **Oracle SOA Suite / ICS (Integration Cloud Service)** - Knowledge of **Process Cloud (PCS)** - Exposure to **Oracle Autonomous Database / ATP** - Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices** - Basic knowledge of **JavaScript, HTML, CSS (for VBCS customization)** - Experience with **file-based integrations and EDI** **Experience Required** - Typically **38 years** of experience in Oracle PaaS / middleware technologies - At least **1–2 end-to-end OIC implementations** **Education** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field **Key Competencies** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction - Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments - Team collaboration and coordination skills **Optional Responsibilities (Senior Roles)** - Lead integration architecture and design decisions - Mentor junior developers - Define best practices and governance for integrations - Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients **Preferred candidate profile**
