**Position Description:** We are seeking a skilled **Oracle Retail Technical / Techno-Functional Consultant** to join our **Application Development Team**. The successful candidate will focus on delivering custom developments, system enhancements, and optimizations for Oracle Retail applications such as **Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS)**, **Oracle Retail Pricing (RPM)**, **Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM)**, **Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB)**, **Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA)**, **Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM), Oracle Retail Allocation** and **BI Publisher**. This role will be crucial in ensuring that our Oracle Retail solutions meet business needs while improving functionality, performance, and integrations with other enterprise systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - **System Development & Customization**: Design, develop, and implement **custom solutions** for Oracle Retail applications, including **RMS, RPM, ReIM, SIM, RIB, ReSA, Allocation, BIP** and related modules. Work on the configuration and **customization** of these modules to meet evolving business requirements. - **Enhancements & Optimizations**: Lead the development of **enhancements** to improve Oracle Retail applications, focusing on performance optimization, business process improvements, and the addition of new features to support business growth. - **RICE Components Development**: Develop and deploy **RICE** (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components to enhance functionality and ensure system integration with other enterprise systems, including **ERP**, **CRM**, **POS**, and eCommerce platforms. - **System Integration**: Integrate Oracle Retail solutions with third-party systems using **APIs**, **web services**, and other integration techniques, ensuring smooth data flow and compatibility with other business systems. - **Performance Tuning**: Identify performance bottlenecks in Oracle Retail applications and implement solutions to enhance scalability, efficiency, and responsiveness. - **Technical Leadership & Collaboration**: Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality development solutions. - **Implementation of Upgrades & New Features**: Support the implementation of **upgrades**, patches, and new releases, ensuring that Oracle Retail applications are up to date and meet business requirements without disrupting operations. - **Documentation**: Create and maintain technical documentation for development processes, configurations, and customizations to ensure transparency and consistency in the delivery of solutions. **Qualifications:** - **Experience**: Minimum 5**+ years** of **hands-on** experience working with Oracle Retail applications, including at least 3 **years** in a technical consulting or development role focused on **custom development** and **system enhancements**. - **Oracle Retail Expertise**: In-depth experience with **Oracle Retail solutions** (e.g., **RMS, RPM, ReIM, SIM, RIB, ReSA, Allocation, BIP**) and a strong understanding of retail business processes and operations. - **Technical Skills**: - **System Integration**: Proven experience integrating **Oracle Retail** with **ERP**, **CRM**, **POS**, **WMS**, and **eCommerce platforms**. Require Hands-on experience on **Pro\\*C, Unix, Shell Scripts, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, BI Publisher Reporting**. - **Performance Tuning**: Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues, ensuring Oracle Retail applications operate with optimal efficiency. - **Communication & Collaboration**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. - **Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking**: Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
