Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Provide **L2/L3 support** for production applications and ensure SLA adherence - Analyze and resolve **production incidents, defects, and service requests** - Perform **root cause analysis (RCA)** and implement preventive measures - Write and optimize **SQL/PLSQL queries** for troubleshooting and data fixes - Develop and maintain **shell scripts** for automation and monitoring - Work closely with development, database, and infrastructure teams - Monitor application health and proactively identify issues - Participate in **change management, release deployments, and maintenance activities** - Ensure adherence to **ITIL processes and documentation standards** **Mandatory Skills:** - Strong hands-on experience in **PL/SQL (Advanced querying, procedures, functions, performance tuning)** - Good knowledge of **Unix/Linux commands and environment** - Experience in **Application Support / Production Support** - Knowledge of **ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)** - Hands-on experience in **Shell Scripting (Bash scripting)** **Preferred candidate profile** : - Knowledge of **Oracle Database / DBA concepts** - Basic understanding of **Java** - Experience with **monitoring tools and job scheduling tools**
