The Opportunity The Partner Solution Architect is a key member of the Partner Delivery Success organization, responsible for helping partners successfully architect, plan, and deliver Zuora solutions. This role is the technical lead and trusted advisor to partners during partner-led implementations, improving delivery quality, partner readiness, and technical adoption across the ecosystem. This person will work closely with Partners, Global Services, Sales, Customer, Product, and Support to guide solution design, validate technical approaches, mitigate delivery risk, and strengthen partner capability. The role is centered on the technical aspects of partner delivery and implementation success rather than account management. What You’ll Achieve • Enable partners to design and deliver scalable, high-quality Zuora implementations. • Improve partner implementation health, go-live outcomes, and overall delivery quality. • Increase partner technical capability through certification, enablement, and ongoing architecture guidance. • Support technical governance across partner-led projects by identifying risks early, guiding mitigation plans, and ensuring alignment to Zuora best practices. In This Role, You Will Partner Solution Architecture & Technical Guidance • Provide technical leadership to partners during scoping, discovery, solution design, and implementation planning. • Design and validate solution architectures that meet stated and implied business requirements while aligning to Zuora best practices. • Review partner technical deliverables to ensure compliance with architecture standards, integration patterns, and delivery guidelines. • Produce and review architecture artifacts such as ecosystem and integration diagrams, process flows, swim lanes, ERDs, and related design documentation. Partner Implementation Oversight • Serve as a key technical point of contact for partner-led implementations — supporting partner requirements, internal GS coordination, escalations, product and support alignment, and hypercare activities as needed. • Help identify technical delivery risks and issues early, and work with partners and internal teams to define mitigation strategies and contingency plans. • Support Areas of Complexity assessment and validation to ensure the right level of technical oversight is applied throughout the implementation lifecycle. • Provide technical guidance across design, build, test, deployment, UAT, and handoff stages of delivery. Partner Enablement & Practice Development • Drive partner technical enablement by identifying capability gaps and supporting technical training, certification, and readiness programs. • Conduct architecture reviews, office hours, and technical guidance sessions to support partner success on active and upcoming projects. • Help partners strengthen their Zuora delivery practice through repeatable methods, best practices, and ongoing knowledge sharing. • Share field feedback from partners and implementations with relevant Zuora teams to improve product adoption and delivery effectiveness. Opportunity & Cross-Functional Support • Partner with Sales, Partner Account Managers, and Global Services to assess partner fit for opportunities and support the right technical delivery model. • Contribute technical insight during pre-sales or early project phases to align partner capability with solution complexity and customer expectations. • Support co-delivery strategies that balance partner value, delivery quality, and successful customer outcomes. About You You may be a great fit if you: • Have enterprise-level experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, or Business Consultant in a professional services, partner delivery, or product-led consulting environment. • Have demonstrated experience delivering moderate to complex ERP, billing, revenue, procurement, CRM, or adjacent enterprise transformation solutions. • Are strong in requirements gathering, business analysis, systems design, integration, implementation, and technical solution documentation. • Have experience with data migration, interfaces, reporting, testing, and support across end-to-end implementations. • Can simplify complex technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. • Bring strong executive presence, with the ability to influence partners and internal stakeholders from project teams through senior leadership. • Are comfortable working across distributed teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment. • Are comfortable working with Finance and business stakeholders, translating business goals into scalable technical solutions.
