**Pentaho BI Lead AMS** **Experience:** 6–10 Years **Location:** Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune (or as applicable) **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Pentaho BI Lead** to lead ETL support and data integration activities in an Application Management Services (AMS) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle)**, ETL support, data warehousing concepts, SQL performance tuning, and incident management. The role involves ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performing data pipelines while leading support teams and driving continuous improvements. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead L2/L3 support activities for Pentaho ETL pipelines. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures and performance issues. - Manage ETL job scheduling, workflow orchestration, and dependency management. - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. - Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes. - Support data integration with enterprise data warehouse platforms. - Collaborate with BI and reporting teams to ensure timely data availability. - Implement monitoring, automation, and alerting mechanisms. - Manage incidents, problems, and change requests in production environments. - Coordinate with global teams to ensure seamless support coverage. - Mentor junior team members and establish ETL best practices. **Mandatory Skills** - Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle) - ETL Development & Support - Data Warehousing Concepts - SQL & Query Performance Tuning - Incident Management - Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Job Scheduling Tools (Rundeck, Control-M, Cron) - Data Quality & Validation - Production Support (L2/L3) **Preferred Skills** - AWS Redshift - Amazon S3 - AWS Glue - Python/Shell Scripting - Data Governance - Data Quality Frameworks - Retail Domain Knowledge - Change & Problem Management
