PeopleSoft HRMS Functional Consultant **Location:** Bangalore, Noida,Hyderabad,Chennai,Mumbai **Experience:** 8–10+ Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **PeopleSoft HRMS Functional Consultant** to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise across PeopleSoft HCM modules and provide production support, incident management, and functional consulting services. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and support teams to ensure the smooth functioning, enhancement, and optimization of HR processes and systems. Key Responsibilities - Provide functional support for PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM modules, including: - Core HR - Workforce Administration - Payroll - Benefits Administration - Absence Management - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, service requests, and system defects within agreed service levels. - Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for functional and process-related issues. - Support end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from Hire-to-Retire. - Collaborate with development teams on enhancements, bug fixes, retrofits, and system improvements. - Participate in system testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring functional accuracy and business requirements compliance. - Assist with application migrations, upgrades, patch implementations, and release management activities. - Prepare and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDD), test scenarios, test cases, user guides, and training materials. - Maintain knowledge repositories, issue logs, support documentation, and process documentation. - Support critical business operations and participate in on-call support rotations as required. - Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide effective functional solutions. Required Skills & Experience - 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM functional support. - Strong expertise in the following PeopleSoft modules: - Core HR / Workforce Administration - Payroll (North America Payroll and/or Global Payroll preferred) - Benefits Administration - Absence Management - Strong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes and the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle. - Experience in production support, incident management, and service request resolution. - Ability to perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills - Basic understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, including: - Application Server - Web Server - Process Scheduler - Knowledge of SQL, PeopleSoft Query, and reporting tools such as: - nVision - BI Publisher - Experience supporting system upgrades, patches, and implementation projects. - Familiarity with ITIL-based support processes and service management practices.
