Performance Test Engineer

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Location: Chennai, Pune, Kolkata Experience: 5 to 10Years Roles & Responsibilities - Analyze application performance requirements and define performance test strategies - Design and execute **performance, load, stress, endurance, and spike tests** - Develop and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools - Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers - Analyze test results and provide actionable performance recommendations - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues - Monitor application behavior under load and validate SLAs - Integrate performance tests into **CI/CD pipelines** - Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders - Support capacity planning and scalability assessments Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with **JMeter / LoadRunner / Gatling / NeoLoad** - Experience in creating **workload models and test scenarios** - Good understanding of **HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, Microservices** - Knowledge of **application performance tuning** - Experience with **Linux/Unix** environments - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
