If you enjoy combining technical depth with investigative thinking—turning metrics into action and performance into a shared culture—this is a great opportunity to grow your expertise while working on systems that matter. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute performance test strategies covering load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for web and API-based applications. **•** Create realistic workload models, define SLAs/SLIs, and establish performance baselines for critical user journeys. **•** Develop, enhance, and maintain performance scripts using **LoadRunner** and **JMeter**, including parameterization, correlation, and data management. **•** Configure test environments, coordinate test data needs, and ensure repeatable, reliable test execution across cycles. **•** Monitor systems during test runs using **Dynatrace** and analyze application/server metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory, GC, DB waits). **•** Identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers; provide actionable tuning recommendations and validate improvements through re-testing. **•** Produce clear performance test reports with findings, trends, risks, and release readiness recommendations for stakeholders. **•** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into delivery pipelines and improve overall performance engineering maturity. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Engineering degree (or equivalent technical education). **•** 3–10 years of experience in **performance testing** and performance engineering practices. **•** Strong hands-on expertise with **LoadRunner** and **JMeter** for scripting and execution. **•** Experience designing test scenarios, workload models, and interpreting performance results to drive improvements. **•** Working knowledge of monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as **Dynatrace**. **•** Ability to analyze end-to-end performance metrics and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Proven experience leading performance test cycles end-to-end, including planning, execution, analysis, and stakeholder sign-off. **•** Strong proficiency in Dynatrace dashboards, service flow analysis, and deep-dive diagnostics to pinpoint root causes quickly. **•** Experience working closely with DevOps and engineering teams to validate performance in CI/CD and pre-production environments. **•** Ability to create reusable test assets, standards, and documentation that improve team-wide consistency and efficiency. **•** Demonstrated track record of performance optimization validation (before/after comparisons, trend analysis, capacity insights).
