"Node.js Developer Role Summary Backend developer responsible for building scalable APIs, microservices, and integrations for HCM refactoring within an enterprise platform. Experience 5+ years in backend development (Node.js focus) Key Responsibilities Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js Build microservices and integration layers across systems Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and architects Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability Implement security (authentication, access control, data protection) Integrate databases and third-party services Support testing, debugging, and production issues Contribute to CI/CD and deployments Support refactoring of monolithic components to modular services Must Have Strong JavaScript and Node.js Experience with REST APIs and microservices Knowledge of Express/NestJS or similar frameworks Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture Knowledge of API security (JWT/OAuth) Git, debugging, strong problem solving Good to Have Azure or AWS exposure Docker and Kubernetes Messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) HCM / Payroll domain experience Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus)" NodeJS
