Job Title: Pl SQL Production support Position: SE/SSE Experience: 3+ Years (SE 3-5 years) (SSE -5 to 9 years) Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Monthly once night shift About the Role We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer to join our wealth management team and ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of our production systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in production support, Interactive SQL (ISQL),Oracle, Linux, Shell Scrirpting and GCP environments. Your future duties and responsibilities Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. 2–5 years of experience in a production support, application support roles. Solid understanding of ITIL concepts — incident management, change management, and escalation procedures. Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, or Remedy. Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for querying and investigating data-related production issues. Practical experience with Unix/Linux command-line and Shell scripting for log analysis, job monitoring, and task automation. Experience managing and troubleshooting scheduled jobs using Rundeck or equivalent schedulers (Control-M, Autosys). Required qualifications to be successful in this role Must Have Overall, 3+ years of experience in Application Production Support Handle batch jobs, scheduling, model execution failures, and data pipeline issues Support deployment, maintenance, and monitoring in production environments. Analyse logs, alerts, and performance metrics to identify and fix incidents proactively. Understanding of incident management and ticketing tools. Experience in application or production support environment. Support backup, recovery, patching, and change implementation activities. Knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLA/SLO timelines Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes Execute and validate SQL queries using ISQL for data investigation and issue resolution Manage and support workloads running in GCP environments Maintain and update runbooks, incident logs, and knowledge base documentation Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical production issues Proactively identify areas of improvement and automate repetitive support tasks Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for timely issue resolution Manage and track incidents using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow Nice to Have Exposure to Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or AI assistant tools.
