Role\\*\\* **Platform Lead Engineer and Admin** Required Technical Skill Set\\*\\* Lead the technical direction of the Analytics and Data Management platforms across architecture, delivery quality, platform reliability, and team enablement. The Platform/Product Lead connects product roadmap goals with executable engineering plans and ensures scalable, cost-aware, and secure data solutions. **Core Responsibilities** - Define and govern platform architecture across Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and BI ecosystem integrations. - Lead engineering delivery for roadmap initiatives, technical debt reduction, and modernization topics. - Set and enforce standards for coding, model design, testing, metadata, observability, and documentation. - Drive platform reliability, incident response, RCA quality, and prevention actions with clear ownership. - Manages platform operations, access lifecycle, and environment readiness. - Owns onboarding/offboarding workflows, permission controls, and SOP adherence. - Coordinates service requests, maintenance activities, and operational communications. - Monitors platform health, job execution, and ticket SLA compliance. - Supports audit/compliance needs via logs, controls, and process documentation. **Required Skills and Experience** - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and orchestration (Airflow) in production-scale environments. - Practical experience with BI/platform transitions and proof-of-concept evaluations. - Platform operations mindset: SLA ownership, monitoring, CI/CD, cost optimization (FinOps), and quality gates. - Platform administration, incident handling, ITSM workflow discipline, and access governance. - Operational troubleshooting, runbook execution, and cross-team coordination. - Strong SQL and data-warehousing expertise (medallion style layering, incremental patterns, dedup logic).
