The role requires strong hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, edge platform validation, performance engineering practices, performance and load testing, network testing and automation, Kubernetes validation, defect management, Agile delivery, CI/CD quality gates, release governance, stakeholder communication, and team leadership. **Key Responsibilities:-** - Lead platform QA strategy, test planning, execution governance, and release quality sign-off. - Own quality validation across functional, integration, regression, API, performance, load, security, network testing, validation and verification, edge platform validation, and production-readiness testing. - Define and implement performance engineering practices, including workload modelling, capacity benchmarking, latency analysis, throughput validation, scalability testing, endurance testing, and performance bottleneck analysis for edge platforms. - Drive test automation strategy and integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence. - Manage defect lifecycle, quality metrics, dashboards, risk tracking, and stakeholder reporting. - Coordinate with development, DevOps, architecture, security, operations, and customer teams to ensure stable platform delivery. - Mentor QA engineers, promote quality-first practices, and continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage. **Required Skills:-** - QA strategy, test planning, test execution, defect management, and release governance. - Functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, security, and production-readiness testing. - Must have strong performance engineering and performance/load testing expertise, including workload design, benchmarking, capacity planning, bottleneck identification, tuning recommendations, and performance reporting. - Network testing, validation and verification across platform connectivity, routing, switching, traffic flow, latency, packet loss, resilience, and interoperability scenarios. - Must have strong network automation skills, including hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automated network testing, validation, verification, and regression execution. - Test automation framework understanding and CI/CD quality gate implementation. - Platform validation experience across edge platforms, cloud-native, microservices, API-based, Kubernetes-based, or enterprise software platforms. - Must have proficiency in Kubernetes, including cluster fundamentals, workloads, services, networking, troubleshooting, and validation in cloud-native environments. - Strong Agile/Scrum delivery, stakeholder communication, risk management, and team leadership skills. **Experience & Qualifications:-** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline. - 10+ years of experience in QA, Test Management, Quality Engineering, Platform Validation, or Software Delivery. - 3+ years of experience as QA Lead, Test Lead, Platform QA Lead, or similar leadership role. - Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks, platform testing, Agile delivery, release readiness, and customer-facing delivery environments. - Preferred: ISTQB, Certified Scrum Master, cloud/platform engineering exposure, or experience in Industrial IoT, Energy, Edge Computing, Telecom, or Enterprise Software domains.
