Job description

PLC Programmer Projects & Automation Location: Chennai Key Responsibilities • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for new and existing automation systems. • Commission, test, and support automation projects across MRF plants. • Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, communication, and control system issues. • Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements. • Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Maintenance, and Production teams. • Maintain PLC backups and project documentation. Required Skills • Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000/RSLogix). • PLC programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. • HMI/SCADA integration and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, etc.). • Experience of VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial automation. Qualification • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Experience • 510 years in PLC programming and industrial automation. Travel Requirement • Willingness to travel extensively across MRF manufacturing plants in India for project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
